2009 National Dutch Show

Welcome to Kansas!

The Kansas Dutch Rabbit Club is very excited to be hosting the 2009 NDS.

The show will be held in the New Rabbit Barn at the Kansas State Fair Grounds in Hutchinson, KS on April 24 – 26, 2009.  It is a big bright building with everything under one roof from youth activities, sell coops, and restrooms. 

Bob Bergene and committee have been busy hiring our judges and I’m sure they are getting some great Dutch judges.

We are currently looking for sponsors for the awards, for $25 you can sponsor the award of your choice. If you are interested please let me know or check out our website – www.kansasdutchclub.com - for information.  We will be accepting ads for the catalog soon- watch the website for the information.

Entry fees have been set for $6 per entry and $3 for fur.  We will also have sell coops available for $1.50 each.

There are some outstanding attractions located in the area:  The Kansas Comosphere and Space Center (www.cosmo.org), Kansas Underground Salt Museum (www.undergroundmuseum.org), and down the road the Amish community of Yoder (www.yoderkansas.com). So come early and enjoy yourself in Hutchinson, KS.

We are busy planning many fun events for the weekend, so we hope everyone can join us for NDS 2009.
