The 1960s
The 1960s brought continued changes to the Dutch Standard and ADRC operations, including discussions on minimum weight, pre-junior classes, and ongoing debates surrounding Gray Dutch coloration that eventually led to a compromise with ARBA following the 1965 Standard of Perfection. The decade also saw organizational changes involving youth divisions, the Dutch Reporter, honorary lifetime memberships, and the discontinuation of rotating trophies, while Leonard Weir concluded the decade by winning Best in Show at the 1969 ARBA Convention in Calgary with a Blue doe.
