The 1980s

The 1980s brought continued growth and restructuring within the ADRC, including separate youth classes and memberships, formal youth sweepstakes recording, district reorganizations, and voting privileges for the secretary/treasurer position. The decade also featured major discussions and revisions involving the Dutch Standard and Gray Dutch description, along with changes to sweepstakes scoring, life membership qualifications, and the introduction of the ADRC’s first royalty contest.
