The 2000s

The 2000s brought continued modernization and expansion within the ADRC, including the launch of the ADRC website managed by Angie Asbet, the digitization of historic Dutch Reporters, changes to National Dutch Show scheduling, expanded youth programs and scholarships, and restructuring of youth director representation by district. The decade also featured continued variety development through COD applications for Harlequin and Chinchilla Dutch, the renaming of Brown-Gray back to Gray, concerns surrounding the outbreak of rabbit calici virus (VHD), Dutch winning Best in Show at the 2006 ARBA Convention with Kevin Hooper’s Gray doe, and the continued recognition of influential breeders through the ADRC Hall of Fame.
