Scholarships for Excellence

The American Dutch Rabbit Club offers a scholarship for the further education of our youth.

• Scholarship proceeds may be used to further education at any accredited four (4) year college, two (2) year college, vocational or technical school.

• All applications must be submitted on forms obtained from a Scholarship Committee member or from the ADRC website. Computer forms will not be accepted unless in original format.

• Applicant must have held continuous ADRC membership for at least three (3) years preceding application for scholarship.

• Applicants are eligible to apply only if they are a high school graduate under the age of 24 years. And have attained 12 college credits by the time of application postmark of March 15th.

• Applicants must have completed high school with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 (unweighted) on a scale of 4.00, as well as currently having a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 in their college courses.

• Home schooled applicants are eligible to apply. A letter of recommendation from a person outside the immediate family is required.

• All applications must include a complete High School and College transcript.

• Scholarships will be paid to the member and and school upon receipt of confirmation that 12 credit hours have been completed along with a copy of the transcripts.

• All applications must be postmarked by March 15th of the application year and returned to the ADRC Youth Scholarship Foundation.

• Applicant is only eligible to win one scholarship per person.

• Up to three qualified scholarships may be awarded per year.
